8-5 = 730-630

Thursday, April 28th, 2005

Our current client is a government agency and they have a temporary working schedule of a four-day workweek for the months of April and May. But even if we already come in at 7:30am-630pm from Mondays thru Thursdays, we still need to come in at Friday to do some work because our project schedule is too tight. At least we’ll only be doing this for another two months because our deadline is on June. And we’re getting meal and transportation allowance, which makes up for the pressure and fatigue. I think.

Meet the Escapist

Don’t you sometimes feel like you’re stuck in a rut? That no matter how you try or what you do, you still find yourself in the same situation you started with? I do. That’s why I’ve learned to content myself with escaping from time to time. I call it taking a retreat — I take a step back from what’s happening and just do something else. It doesn’t actually change things; just my perspective of them. And somehow, that makes a lot of difference. So when I go back, I feel refreshed and charged with a renewed verve to wiggle around in my rut can … until I find the need to escape once more.
